KATA MENANGIS: BENTUK, PERILAKU, DAN MAKNA

Abstract

Language is an important thing to communicate people in a daily life. By using language, people can express desire, idea and connecting aspirationsto each others. Those will be built upan improvement in either individuals or groups.There’s a meaning in the every language in this world.Therefore, study about meaning is an important thing in every language. In this study, the researcher explain about the form, behavior, and the meaning word of ‘menangis’. To explain that word, the researcher usedmethod of distribution with expansion technique. The final result of this researsch is to describe morphologic process of ‘menangis’, to describe expansion of ‘menangis’ and to determine the sameness and the differencess of ‘menangis’ through analysis meaning component. The results of this study are founded two morphological process of ‘menangis’, those are ‘menangisi’ and ‘menangiskan’, in the syntacticfield, there are type of valensi syntactic and expantion of ‘menangis’ and its synonym which explain through table and examples, the researcher also determine the sameness and the differencess of ‘menangis’.After those final analysis, the researcher classify the meaning field and meaning component of ‘menangis’.
