KAJIAN PRAGMATIK PENERAPAN BOOSTER DALAM BAHASA JEPANG

Abstract

In Japanese language there are many expressions that express a speaker's emotion just like any other language. However, in Japanese, the phrase is more inclined toward rude or impolite words. There is a lot of booster in the Japanese phrase. The speakers are more likely to use high notes to express emotional level in themselves. When pronouncing repetitive phrases that signifies commands, or expressions of surpise when hearing the shocking news. Booster itself is a theory in the study of pragmatic science that learns about the expression of the speaker on the statement of the opponent that contains emotional elements. Usually the emergence of this booster tends to show the negative side rather than positive. This is because the expressions emerging from speakers are usually rough words, offensive, mocking or commanding sentences with a high tone. Japanese also has the expression of the booster, such as the form of curse that is the word 「バカ」(baka) which means "dumb", then the command phrase which in the verb ends 「ろう」(rou) which has the mean send with a high tone. This form of verb is usually spoken by men in Japan.
