PEMEROLEHAN DAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBAHASA PADA ANAK-ANAK TKIT AL-AUSATH PABELAN KARTASURA

Abstract

The acquisition and learning of language, especially reading, become part of the Indonesian learning process in TKIT Al-Ausath Pabelan Kartasura. Children are provided books of Islam Kids Love Reading (AISM) from volume 1 up to 5, but for those who have completed their five-volume expanded to a magazine or newspaper. Based on the preliminary study, girls are one step forward than boys. This article tries to describe the differences and the causes. The data were collated by documentation and interview from teachers, parents, and students. The results are (1) the ability to read girls are superior to boys. Their superior begins in finishing volume 3. Boys are left behind after volume 2. Many girls are able to accomplishvolume 5, and some can read a magazine or newspaper, (2) the girl’s motivation and their neuron become internal factor that makes girls can finish the AISM faster than boys. (3) The role of the family, in this case the mother gives more influencing on girls.
