Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of educational period, wages per day, husband wages per day, the number of family members borne, and the amount of expenditure per day on the intensity of the participation of mothers to work. The population in this research is fisherman's wife in Morodemak Village, Bonang District, Demak District. In this research the method used to analyze the data is Tobit Analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the period of education, wife wage per day, husband wage per day, the number of family members who bear the significant positive effect on the intensity of maternal participation to work, while the amount of expenditure per day has no significant effect on the intensity of the participation of the mother to work . The work that the wife does to work is due to factors; an increase in the number of family members, the duration of maternal education and the amount of wages received by the wife. Factors that influence the intensity of work participation to work in Morodemak Village Bonang District Demak Regency is the period of education of a wife, wages per day.
