Abstract
English slang words are not known well by all people, especially the English learners. Itmay be happened because of the English matter in their lectures not tell all about it clearly. This research aims to find out the cause of that phenomena through the theory of languageacquisition this research will be driven. In the other hand, the data will be searched by thequalitative descriptive approach. The data will be taken from the adult sites in the internet.The result of this research shows that the English learners do not know the meaning ofslang words itself. From 30 samples only some words that the learners knew about slangwords, for example the word “Blow Job” is the least appear, only one learners who knew, which means 3% in percentage and the other do not know and for the word “Facial” themost appear, there were 29 learners who knew it, which means 97% in percentage. It showsthat the learning in university still parcial and not holistic.
