Faculty of Humanities Diponegoro University. Dr. M. Abdullah, M.A dan Dra. Mirya Anggrahini, M. Hum Syair Singapura Dimakan Api is one of many poems by Abdullah bin Abdulkadir Munsy. The research used copied manuscript stored in the National Library of Republic of Indonesia (PNRI). This stage provides the writer to analize pragmatic meaning of SSDA. The theories of philology and pragmatic were applied in this research. Philology theories were applied in collecting the data, describing, and transliterating. Pragmatic theories became the base to analize the pragmatic meaning in the SSDA manuscript. Pragmatic information of message conveyed by the ai is outhor of SSDA can be found by applying both theories. This poem tells of the fira that hit Singapore on the eve of Chinese new year. This text has moral values that still have a relevance with the present life of the teachings to be a good leader, the prohibition of stealing, helping each other, the teachings to understand human nature, the teachings have a the shame, theaching do not attach importance the treasure of the word, and teach to pray to god. The pragmatic studies of SSDA manuscript by Abdullah bin Abdulakdir Munsy Produce seven morals value on the SSDA manuscript.Those meanings are easy to apply in the real life.
