Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor - faktor yang berhubungan dengan keberadaan boraks pada bakso di kecamatan Banyumanik. Jenis penelitian adalah explanatory survey, cara pendekatan dengan cross sectional study. Populasi adalh pedagang bakso dan bakso yang dijual di Kecamatan Banyumanik. Sampel adalah bakso dan semua pedagang bakso di kecamatan banyumanik dengan kriteria inklusi membuat bakso sendiri dan berjualan menetap. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara langsung terhadap pedagang dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan pemeriksaan boraks pada bakso di laboratorium. Data dianalisa secara diskriptif dan analitik dengan menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bakso yang tidak mengandung boraks sebesar 73,3% dan bakso yang mengandung boraks sebesar 26,7%.Hasil analisis diskriptif menunjukkan pedagang dengan pengetahuan baik sebesar 50%, pedagang dengan sikap baik sebesar 70%, pedagang dengan pendapatan rendah sebesar 56,7%, pedagang dengan tingkat pendidikan tamat pendidikan dasar 9 tahun atau lebih sebesar 60% Hasil uji analitik menunjukkan adanya hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap pedagang dengan keberadaan boraks pada bakso (p=0,032 dan p=0,035).Sedangkan pendapatan dan tingkat pendidikan tidak ada hubungan dengan keberadaan boraks pada bakso (p=0,092 dan p=0,210). Kata Kunci: Boraks, pengetahuan, sikap, tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan FACTORS RELATED TO THE EXISTENCE OF BORAX IN MEATBALLS SOLD IN BANYUMANIK SUBDISTRICT The purpose of this research is to find out the factors connected to the existence of borad in meatballs on Banyumanik subdistrict. This research is one kind of explanatory survey, because the connection between the variabels is explained thrugh hipotetical test. We use cross sectional study approach. Population are all meatballs traders dan sold in Banyumanik subdistrict. Sampled has been taken are meatballs and all meatballs traders on Banyumanik subdisrtict with inclusion criteria : they make their own meatballs by themselves and they trade it on permanent place. Sampling system that we use is surfeited sampling. We collected data by doing direct interviews to the traders. The interviews done by using the quisioners and examanation of borax in meatballs in laboratory. The datas were analyzed descriptively and analytically using chi square test. The result show that meatballs with negative borax are 73,3% and meatballs with positive borax are 26,7%. From the descriptive analysis, it results that traders with more knowledge are 50%, traders with high attitude are 70%, traders with low level of income are 56,7%, and traders finished their study in Junior High School or more are 60%. Analytical test results relation between knowledge and attitude of the traders to the existence of borax in meatballs (p=0,032 and p= 0,035). Meanwhile level of income and gradeof education has no relation to the exixtence of borax in meatballs (p=0,092 and p=0,210) Kata Kunci: Boraks, pengetahuan, sikap, tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan
