Abstract

ABSTRACT Dewantoro, Robertus Yoga. 2017. “Padanan Dialek Kansai ke Bahasa Jepang Standar dan Penggunaannya Pada Acara Komedi Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai Ya Arahende Zettai Waratte wa Ikenai 24ji”. Thesis, Department of Japanese Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. The Advisor Reny Wiyatasari, S.S, M.Hum. In this writing thesis, the writer discussed “An Analysis of Standart Japanese Equivalents of Kansai Dialect and it’s use in a Comedy Show Entitled Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai Ya Arahende Zettai Waratte wa Ikenai 24ji”. The aim of these research are to spell out forms of jodoushi and shuujoshi of Kansai dialect and its equivalents to standard Japanese; and to spell out factors that affect the use of Kansai dialect in that comedy show. The writer obtained the data from comedy show that uploaded in the internet. Those data were collected using observation method with record technique and note-taking technique. Then, to analyze Kansai dialect forms and its equivalents to standard Japanese, the writer used intralingua comparing method. And to know factors that affect the use of Kansai dialect, the writer used extralingua comparing method. Based on the data analysis, can be concluded that Kansai dialect forms that appeared in the comedy show are jodoushi that consisting of hen, ten, haru, tara akan, na akan, ya, and yaro; and yo shuujoshi that consisting of na, de, wa, and ya. Factors that affect the use of kansai dialect in that comedy show are age factor, group membership factor, social status factor, and situation factor.
