The purpose of this research is analyze the social criticism analysis the short story Sakura No Kinoshita Ni Wa (桜の樹の下には). The data used in this research is the short story Sakura No Kinoshita Ni Wa (桜の樹の下には), published by Motojiro Kajii in 1928. The theory used in this research is the analysis of sociology literature by Wellek and Warren short story Sakura No Kinoshita Ni Wa (桜の樹の下には). The second theory used in this study is a structural theory by Burhan Nurgiyantoro. This theory is used to analyze the theme, plot, setting, message and viewpoint in this short story.
