Abstract

ABSTRACT Safitri, Maulita. 2017. “Partikel Penegas Nanka, Nante, dan Kurai dalam Kalimat Bahasa Jepang”. Thesis, Department of Japanese Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. Advisor: Elizabeth Ika Hesti ANR, S.S., M.Hum. In this research, the writer studied about “The Toritatejoshi Nanka, Nante, and Kurai in Japanese Sentence”. The aims of this research are to describe the structure and meaning of Japanese toritatejoshi such as nanka, nante, and kurai; and to describe the similarity and the difference between those three kinds Japanese toritatejoshi. The writer obtained the data from Japanese comic, short story, as well as website. The data are collected by using note taking technique. Then, to analyze the structure and the meaning of toritatejoshi nanka, nante, and kurai, the writer used descriptive qualitative method. Meanwhile, the writer applied distributional method and substitutional technique to depict the similarity and the difference of those toritatejoshi’s meanings. Based on the data analysis, the results show that the toritatejoshi nanka can assert nouns, verbs, adjectives, persona pronouns, nominal phrases and nominal clauses, and add the meanings of underestimation, impossibility, and condescension. The toritatejoshi nante can affirm nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns persona, nominal phrases, nominal clauses and sentences, and add the meanings of underestimation, impossibility, fairness, quotes, and shock. The toritatejoshi kurai can affirm nouns, nominal phrases and nominal clauses, and add the lower meanings, lowest things, common things, minimum, and approximation.
