HUBUNGAN PENDAMPINGAN DENGAN KEPATUHAN IBU HAMIL MINUM TABLET BESI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS ROWOSARI SEMARANG

Abstract

Obedience of pregnant mother in consuming iron tablets remains as one pivotal shortcoming in medical field. Accompaniment is one of the collaborative learning methods which keeps the health services focusing on the patients so that the quality of the services improves, the patients are satisfied with the treatment, the population health gets better, and the treatment surcharge may fall. This research is aimed to identify the relation between accompaniment and pregnant mothers’ obedience in consuming iron tablets. The research design implemented in this research was the quantitative design with descriptive correlation feature and cross-sectional approach. The respondents included pregnant mothers in first and third trimester and have received Interprofessional Education accompaniment. This research exercises probability sampling technique in type of proportional random sampling with the total number samples of 84 respondents and respond rate of 100%. The data was collected by handing out questionnaire and carrying out recall. The result revealed that there was a deficiency in accompaniment with 57,1%, while 61,9% remained obedience in consuming the iron tablets. It also indicated that there was no significant relation between accompaniment and pregnant mothers’ obedience in consuming iron tablets (p value: 0,092). This research is expected to provide suggestions in implementing IPE in Faculty of Medicine of Diponegoro University in the future.
