Abstract

Novel human papillomaviruses (HPVs) were sought as part of a recent international study of >1000 inasie cervical carcinomas. A single novel I (1W designated 1539 was idtniiAcd in this study. 1S39 is most closely related to another novel virus, WI3B (MM4), variants of %I3R (MM4), and HPV-51.
