Hubungan Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Suami Tentang KB dengan Penggunaan Kontrasepsi Pada Suami

Abstract

Husbandry participation in family planning program in Indonesia is still very low about 1.3%. Factors that cause low husband participation in the use of contraceptives caused by several factors such as knowledge, attitude, male unity of information about contraception. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship of knowledge and attitudes about kb husband with the use of contraception to the husband. This research uses descriptive correlation research with Cross Sectional approach. Total sample of 207 respondents husband who have fertile couples (20-45 years) in Bulurejo Village with proportional random sampling technique. The data collection in this study is using questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of husbands about Kb with the use of contraception in husbands. It is suggested to the community leaders (the head of RT) to invite health workers such as midwives when the RT for contraceptive-related screening in men, and the need for communication between husband and wife, when the wife gets counseling related KB expected wife to share information obtained with husband.
