Abstract

Clinical Learning is a media that provides opportunity for the students to apply the theoretical knowledge into learning processin order tobuild the students independency in achieving targeted competency objectives. The phenomenon mostly occurred in clinical learning is that students cannot achieve the expected competencies as students must complete the report task and undergo the shift that cause the students face a difficulty to meet the sleep quality. This study is aimed to examine the relationship of 2014 practitioner student sleep quality with adult nursing (KMB) clinical learning stages in the Department of Nursing Diponegoro University Year 2017 as the targeted achievement. The researcher used quantitative with descriptive correlative research design as the research method. The population of this research is 125 nursing students of Diponegoro Universitybatch 2014 who haveconducted Nursing Practice Education of Adult Nursing stage. The number of samples in this study was about 105 respondents. The results showed that the student sleep qualityis in good categories and clinical learning achievement results in most students is have a good learning achievement as well, Fisher's Exact Test results obtained p value about 0.000 <0,05 that means there is a relationship between the2014 practitioner students sleep quality with the clinical learning achievement Adult Nursing stages in Department of Nursing Diponegoro University. Good sleep quality will result in good clinical learning achievement therefore the adequate sleep will contribute a good outcome in learning as well.
