Abstract
Infusion treatment was one of the nursing care actions included in six patient safety goals related to infection risks. This kind of treatment, when it was done maximally, might reduce the risk of the occurrence of phlebitis infection, but if it was not, it would raise the risk of patients’ infection. This study aimed to determine the factors that influence the nurses’ obedience toward the infusion treatment in the inpatient wards of RSUD Ungaran. This was a quantitative study using descriptive survey. The data collected using questionnaire . The sampling technique is used non-probability sampling by accidental sampling of 107 respondents. The data analysis used univariate method. Descriptions of the individual factors nurses showed that most of the old 30 years (68.2%), the female sex (74.8%), Diploma-III students (48,6%), the nurses’ working period > 10 years (59.8%), and the status of married (81.3%). Description of organizational factors, the nurses stated on human resources is enough (74.8%), the leadership of the head of the ward was good (64.5%), and there were rewards given (60, 7%). Description of psychological factors, the nurses had a positive attitude (72.9%), high motivation (54.2%), and a good perception (59.8%). It was expected that all nurses could maintain and improve their positive attitudes, high motivation and good perception toward post-infusion treatment.
