HUBUNGAN ANTARA RELIGIUSITAS DENGAN PENYESUAIAN DIRI PADA SISWA DAN SISWI KELAS VII YAYASAN PONDOK PESANTREN FUTUHIYYAH MRANGGEN KABUPATEN DEMAK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara religiusitas dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa dan siswi kelas VII Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Futuhiyyah. Penyesuaian diri adalah usaha individu dalam merespons mental dan tingkah laku untuk mengatasi kebutuhan-kebutuhan, ketegangan, konflik dan frustasi yang dialami, sehingga terwujud keselarasan antara tuntutan dari dalam diri dan lingkungan. Religiusitas adalah penghayatan nilai agama individu melalui internalisasi ajaran agama sehingga menjadi kerangka acuan dalam bersikap dan bertingkah laku. Subjek adalah siswa dan siswi kelas VII Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Futuhiyyah. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 183 orang dengan menggunakan cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua buah skala yaitu skala religiusitas (27 aitem, α = 0,894) dan skala penyesuaian diri (28 aitem, α = 0,845). Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara religiusitas dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa dan siswi kelas VII Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Futuhiyyah (rᵪᵧ = 0,414, p = 0,000). Religiusitas memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 17,1%. Kata Kunci: religiusitas; penyesuaian diri; pondok pesantren Abstract This research is intended to determine the relation between religiosity and self-adjustment among class VII students of Futuhiyyah Mranggen Islamic boarding school. Self-adjustment is an individual needs in order to respond mentally and behavior to overcome the needs, tensions, conflicts and frustrations that one have, as to realize the harmony between the demands of the self and the environment. Religiosity is the appreciation of individual religious values through the internalization of religious teachings so that it becomes the frame of reference in behaving. The populations of this research are class VII students of Futuhiyyah Islamic boarding school. Characteristics of the subject of this study are active students between the ages of 12-14 years and in class VII in the Futuhiyyah Islamic Boarding School. The sample of the study is 183 people using cluster random sampling. Data collection method is using religiosity scale (27 items, α = 0,894) and self-adjustment scale (28 items, α = 0,845), while the data analysis of this inquary applied the simpleregression analysis. The finding of this research indicates the positive correlation between religiosity and self-adjustment to class VII students of Futuhiyyah Islamic Boarding School (rᵪᵧ = 0,414, p = 0,000).
