Abstract
Pengelolaan persediaan produk digunakan untuk mengatasi komplektisitas industri fashion yang menuntut adanya respon yang cepat dan efektif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Sistem inventori yang dibangun bertujuan untuk memantau dan melakukan pembaruan persediaan produk sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Penerapan metode VMI memberikan transparansi data penjualan dan data persediaan produk di tingkat pengecer kepada pihak-pihak di dalam supply chain. Data penjualan dan persediaan tersebut dihitung untuk mengetahui perkiraan safety stock dan reorder point sehingga dapat ditentukan status persediaan di toko untuk melakukan distribusi kembali. Besarnya jumlah distribusi mempengaruhi status persediaan di gudang sehingga perlu dilakukan produksi kembali melalui perkiraan perencanaan kebutuhan mesin dan tenaga kerja serta persiapan kebutuhan bahan baku. Pemanfaatan teknologi SMS sebagai media pengiriman data penjualan dari pasar mendukung unsur realtime pantauan status persediaan. Pengelolaan persediaan dengan VMI pada produk H0230 memberikan kenaikan persediaan produk sebesar ±30% dan mengurangi penumpukan produk BR008 sebesar ±70% dari pengelolaan persediaan konvensional pada akhir periode penjualan bulan Juni 2016. Melalui sistem inventori tersebut, tingkat persedian produk dapat dijaga, kapan dan berapa jumlah persediaan yang harus dipenuhi dapat segera diketahui dengan tepat. The inventory management is used to resolve the complexity of the fashion industry that demands a fast and effective response in meeting customer needs. The inventory system built aims to monitor and update inventory products as needed. The method used is Managed Inventory Vendor (VMI). The implementation of the VMI method provides the transparency of sales data and inventory data at retail to the parties in the supply chain. Sales and inventory data are calculated to determine the expected safety stock and reorder point so that it can be determined the position status of inventory both in store and warehouse. The large number of distributions affects the inventory status in the warehouse so should be back production through estimates of machine and labor requirements planning and preparation of raw material requirements. Utilization of SMS technology as a media of delivery of sales data from the market supports the realtime elements of the monitoring inventory status. Inventory management with VMI on H0230 product on H0230 product increases ±30% of inventory and reduces disclaimer of BR008 products are ±70% at the end of the sales june 2016. Through the inventory system, the level of inventory can be maintained, when and how much should be restock can be immediately known to the right.
