Abstract

Latar Belakang Nyeri menstruasi atau dismenore adalah kekakuan atau kejang dibagian bawah perut akibat menstruasi karena produksi hormon prostaglandin yang terjadi menjelang atau selama menstruasi.salah satu cara yang efektif untuk mengurangi atau mencegah nyeri yaitu dengan melakukan latihan otot perut atau abdominal stretching exercise. Tujuan penelitian Menganalisis pengaruh abdominal stretching exercise terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri pada dismenore primer. Metode Penelitian Quasy-experiment dengan rancangan pre test-post test with control group design. Pengukuran kadar prostaglandin dengan menggunakan metode ELISA sedangkan intensitas nyeri dismenore dengan numeric rating scale (NRS). Hasil Penelitian Penelitian dilakukan pada 26 responden yang terdiri dari kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi selama 4 hari. Rata – rata perubahan kadar prostaglandin pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 30,36 gr/dl dan pada kelompok intervensi sebesar 47,21 gr/dl. Rata – rata perubahan skor intensitas nyeri pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 1,23 dan kelompok intervensi sebesar 1,62. Hasil uji t- test independent didapatkan ada pengaruh abdominal stretching exercise terhadap penurunan kadar prostaglandin dengan p- value 0,012. Hasil uji Mann Whitney test didapatkan ada pengaruh abdominal stretching exercise terhadap perubahan intensitas nyeri dismenore dengan p- value 0,027. Kesimpulan Pemberian latihan abdominal stretching exercise yang dilakukan selama 4 hari sebelum menstruasi terbukti berpengaruh terhadap penurunan kadar hormon prostaglandin dan intensitas nyeri pada dismenore primer. One effective way to prevent dysmenorrhea pain is abdominal stretching exercise. Objective Analyze the effect of abdominal stretching exercise to changes intensity dysmenorrhea pain in adolescents with primary dysmenorrhea. Research method Quasy experiment pre test and post test design. Measurement of levels prostaglandins by ELISA method and measurement of dysmenorrhea pain intensity scores by anumeric rating scale.
