Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga dengan Perilaku Perineal Hygiene Saat Menstruasi pada Remaja Awal

Abstract

The Relativity between Family Support with Perineal Hygiene Behaviour when Menstruation in Teenagers Menstruation that occurs in teenager is a sign of puberty and biological sexual maturity. Menstruation brings physical and psychological changes. One of physical changes is maturity of reproductive organs therefore needed treatment of genital organs when menstruation to avoid the occurrence of reproductive system disorders. Factors that affect treatment of genital organs one of is support family. The objective of this research is to identify the relativity between family support with perineal hygiene behaviour when menstruation in teenagers. This research using correlation descriptive research and cross sectional approach. There are 145 students early teens (11-14) years old at Junior High School 1 Suruh with proportional random sampling techniques. The data collection in this study is using questionnaire. The results of this study showed that there is relationship between family support and perineal hygiene behaviour when menstruation in teenagers at Junior High School 1 Suruh. For schools suggest to deliver education related to perineal hygiene behaviour when menstruation which is collaborated with clinic and family itself.
