ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS PIDATO BASUKI TJAHAJA PURNAMA (AHOK) TERHADAP PRAJURIT TNI POLRI (20 JANUARI 2016) (MODEL NORMAN FAIRCLOUGH)

Abstract

In this study analyzes about the relationship of language and power in a speech text Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) that are read when the January 20, 2016. The method used in this study is a critical discourse analysis model of Norman Fairclough. Norman Fairclouch formulate, discourse shapes and is shaped by society. Second, the discourse helps shape and change its objects and their knowledge, social relations, and social identity. Third, the discourse shaped by power relations and related ideologies. Fourth, the establishment of discourse marks a tug power. This study aims describes about Ahok political communication style, and claims success in his statements. The results showed that through a political speech, Ahok have a high success rate, low context communication style. However, Ahok communication style failed to create a communicative process of communication, due to a number of communication distorsi.
