Bachelor programs Indonesian Literature, Semarang. Faculty of Humanities. Diponegoro University. Supervisor I Dr. Redyanto Noor, M.Hum, Supervisor II Drs. Siswo Harsono, M.Hum. Air Mata Surga is one the of Hestu Saputra’s movie which is adopted from novel Air Mata Tuhan by Aguk Irawan M.N. The novel and the movie are appointed from Religious and Inspiring story, tell about the struggle and loyalty of a wife who struggling to fight disease and trying to hold on her household until she willing to be combined and decided to always be patient for her power that happened in her life. The transfer of a vehicle from the novel Air Mata Tuhan into movieAir Mata Surga causes transformation, substitution, removal, and addition. These aspects are analyzed from the data in the form of novel and movie with the approach of comparative literature. The purpose is to reveal differences, equations, and changes Differences, equations, and changes that occur due to the transfer of two different material objects. Results of the analysis from novel Air Mata Tuhan and movie Air Mata Surga showed a transformation story, additional and omission of events, alteration and background removal, and replacement and disappearance of characters in the novel.
