UNSUR KEBUDAYAAN DALAM ANIME BERJUDUL SEN TO CHIHIRO NO KAMIKAKUSHI KARYA MIYAZAKI HAYAO 宮崎駿の『千と千尋の神隠し』のアニメにおける文化要素

Abstract

ABSTRACT Rohmawati, Yeni, 2017. “Cultural Elements in anime entitled Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi created by Miyazaki Hayao”. A Thesis of Japanese Literature Departement, Faculty of Humanity, Diponegoro University, Semarang. First Sepervisor Drs.M.Hermintoyo,M.Pd. Second Supervisor Fajria Noviana, S.S.,M.Hum. The purpose of this research is to analyze and to understand some cultural elements and mythology of Japanese culture presented in anime titled Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi created by Miyazaki Hayao. Qualitative method is applied as data source is collected by literature study. The theory applied in the analysis in this research is theory of culture with approach on cultural elements. The approach on cultural elements is used to analyze Japanese cultural elements that appear in this anime, such as social system, live equipment system and technology, livelihood system, religion, and art. The result show that Japanese traditional cultural elements related closely to the whole storyline in the anime. Keyword: anime, cultural element, Japanese Culture
