SEBAMBANGAN CULTURAL SOCIETY IN THE DISTRICT OF LAMPUNG PEPADUN KIBANG BUDI JAYA UNIT 6 TULANG BAWANG WEST LAMPUNG

Abstract

Lampung tribe have traditional marriage called sebambangan. Sebambangan is a marriage that begins by a girl running by flunky to his house by stealth. This study aimed to describe the practices and procedures of public sebambangan Pepadun Lampung. The study includes the methods of data collection and data analysis methods. Phase provision of data used method of observation, interviews and documentation as well as technical notes and data classification. Results that authors found, the process includes runoff sebambangan bachelor girl, rope relaxants, penyeruit, cakak mengian, ngatak daw, marriage ceremony, reception, adok, and mosok.
