Abstract

This research is a morpho-phonemic analysis of Indonesian and Lampung language with using constrastivemorphlogy study. A contrastive-morphology is a language study focusing on the differences of morphemes along with their arrangement in constructing words in two or more languages. Morpho-phonemics is a morphology study focusing on the transformations of phonemes caused by combining one morpheme with other morphemes. The research aims to describe morpho-phonemic forms in Indonesian and Lampung languages based on the contrastive-morphology study. In the research, the dialect of Lampung language used is the dialect A (Api). The dialect A is used by the Lampung traditional society of the coastal regions. The method used in the research is a qualitative-descriptive method. The technique of data analysis uses comparative method with orthographic determiners (written). Based on the result of the data analysis, it is concluded that the morpho-phonemic forms existing in the Indonesian and Lampung languages are active verbs consisting of affix morphemes (prefix) and root form (root words). The result shows that the morphophonemic forms of Lampung language are more varied than the Indonesian language.
