TRANSFORMASI NOVEL MENJADI KOMIK: KAJIAN PERBANDINGAN KAMBING JANTAN KARYA RADITYA DIKA

A novel that its telling use of words is transformed into a comic character could also be found trought the image. Certainly willbea lot of part are omitted or added for the sake of the interests of the illustrations of comics. The transfer of vehicle from the novel Kambing Jantan into comic causes conversion, substitution, removal, and improvisation. Thes aspects are analyzed from the data in the from of novel and comic with the approach of comparative literature. The purpose is to reveal differences in the novel and comic due to the transfer of vehicle, and uniqueness of both the material object, seen from the element of storitelling. Results of the analysis from novel and comic Kambing Jantan showed a conversion story, addition and removal of background, replacement and removal of figures, addition and removal of some of the events in the novel. However, the process of the transformation does not change the substance of the story. The transformation of the novel into the comic gives a new feel to the work.
