Hubungan Persepsi Mahasiswa Tentang Kinerja Perawat Ruang dengan Kinerja Praktik Klinik Manajemen Asuhan Keperawatan Anak Angkatan 2013

Abstract

The perceptionon the nurses’ performance was one aspect that must be considered by the students. If the performance of the nurses was not pretty good, then so was the students’. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the students’ perception on about the performance of the room nurses and the clinical practice performance. This was a quantitative research with descriptive correlation design. The sampling technique used in this research was incidental sampling.There were 98 students of Nursing Sciences Department of UNDIP from academic year 2013 as the respondents. The data of this study were taken using questionnaireand then analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis of chi-square. The results of this study indicated that the students’ perception on the performance of the nurses was not good (56.1%), but it was good at the clinical practice performance (57.1%). The result of bivariate analysis showed no relation between the perception on the nurses’ performance and the clinical practice performance with p-value = 0.471. This research recommended the nurses to always improve their performance by increasing motivation and leadership, and for the students,they should improve their clinical practice performance.
