Abstract

ABSTRACT Celly Devita Febrianti Description of Nursing Satisfaction Level in the Implementation of SBAR Communication at the time of Patients Handover at RSUD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro xv + 60 Pages + 9 Tabels + 2 Pictuures + 18 Appendixes Communication errors upon handover will cause on patient safety. Effective communication is directly proportional to the satisfaction of the receiver. The SBAR communication framework contains patient information about the Situation, Background, Assessment and Recommendation. The aim of this research is to determine the level of nurse satisfaction in the implementation of SBAR communication at the time of patient handover at RSUD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro. The type of research is descriptive survey. The population of the research are nurses who work in hospitalization service rooms at RSUD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro, with using probability sampling technique of 135 people sample. The results of the research describe that 51.1% of respondents have satisfied perception to the aspect of situation. In background aspect, as much as 52.6% of respondents have satisfied perceptions. In assessment aspect, as much as 51.1% of respondents have satisfied perceptions. In recommendation aspect, 85.9% of respondents have satisfied perceptions. Practice related to the effective communication for nurses can be a solution to improve the quality of effective communication and to raise the hospital service quality.
