Abstract

ABSTRACT Enike Tri Ratna Sari Nurse's ethical behavior to colleagues in Diponegoro National Hospital Semarang xvi + 79 pages + 21 tables + 2 pictures + 22 attachments Nurses are health care personnel that always work in team and must always respect the code of ethics of nursing and apply ethical principles of nursing. The aim of this study is to describe of the nurse's ethical behavior to colleagues in Diponegoro National Hospital Semarang. This research was conducted in June 2017. This study used quantitative descriptive. The sample in this research as many as 101 respondents were taken by proportional random sampling technique. The variables in the study is nurse's ethical behavior to colleagues consisting of autonomy, beneficence, non maleficence, justice, veracity, fidelity, confidentiality, accountability. Overview of the nurse's ethical behavior to colleagues showed that autonomy is good (59,4%), beneficence is very good (84,2%), justice is good (65,3%), non maleficence is good (66,3%), veracity is good (59,4%), fidelity is good (74,3%), confidentiality is good (74,3%), accountability is very good (55,4%). The study abaout the nurse's ethical behavior to colleagues are very good (55,4%). So, the nurses must be maintain the behavior according the ethical principles of nursing and then formed a conducive working environment situation to achieve the goal of nursing service. Application of nurse’s ethical behavior can be increased by providing training, seminar, evaluation, monitoring, and supervision.
