GAMBARAN PENERAPAN 10 FAKTOR KARATIF CARING PADA MAHASISWA KEPERAWATAN ‎ UNIVERSITAS DIPONEGOROYANG TELAH MENJALANI ‎ PRAKTIK KLINIK DI RUMAH SAKIT

Abstract

Caring is core of nursing practice and it is believed that caring behavior is ‎one of the essence of nursing. Nursing students get the opportunity to apply caring ‎behavior directly to the patient in the clinical practice learning. The aim of this ‎research is to describe caring behavior based on 10 carative factors in nursing ‎students of Diponegoro University who have comply the clinical practice ‎learning at the hospital. This research was a qualitative research using ‎phenomenological approach. The purposive sampling was used in this study. The ‎data were collected by conducting in-depth interviews to eight participants. All ‎participants have completed clinical practice lessons at all stages. The result ‎showed that the application of caring behavior by the student based on Watson's ‎caratif factors was appropriate to each behavior of the each karatif factors. The ‎results of this study indicate that nursing students of Diponegoro University have ‎been able to apply caring behavior in patients during clinical practice learning at ‎the hospital. However, the students need to improve the caring behavior on each ‎caratif factor. Therefore, it is necessary to increase students' understanding of ‎caring behavior before students meet patients.‎
