Abstract
Occupational accident in Indonesia tend to increase every year. Human factors occupied as the most important position against the occurrence of occupational accident which was about 80-85%. The biggest contributor to the occupational accident came from construction’s sector which has moderate risk level. One of the factors that could cause occupational accident was fatigue. The aim of this research was to investigate the correlation between fatigue of work with the occurrence of occupational accident among hull workers at a construction company in Semarang. Data was collected using quantitative correlative research design. Total samples of the research were 85 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. Data was collected using questionnaire which consisted of characteristics of respondents in age, level of education, sub-section of work, and working period, occurrence of occupational accident’s questionnaire, and fatigue of work using KAUPK2 instrument. Result of this research showed that there was a correlation between fatigue of work with the occurrence of occupational accident among hull workers at a construction company in Semarang with p value < 0,05. The company were expected to further improve occupational safety and health aspect at the workers with doing to prevent fatigue of work one of them was by the forming a health unit who can control periodically tired conditions at the workers during worked.
