KEBERADAAN BADAN USAHA MILIK DESA (BUMDES) TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT DESA PONGGOK, KECAMATAN POLANHARJO, KABUPATEN KLATEN, PROVINSI JAWA TENGAH

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existence of BUMDes to the progress of society’s welfare aspect in Ponggok village, Polanharjo Sub-district, Klaten Regency, Central Java Province. Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) which is established in Ponggok village area becomes the only one BUMDes called with BUMDes Tirta Mandiri. This research used mixed methods. It is known as the strategy of sequential mixed methods which is using sequential exploratory strategy. Objects in this study consist of three components include place, actors and activities. The place in this research is done in Ponggok village. The actors in this research have three roles of point of view that come from government, public figure, and business actors. The last component refers to the concerning activity to see the existence of BUMDes on the progress of society’s welfare in the village Ponggok. Variabel in this study derived into BUMDes and community welfare (education, health and income). The data collection method used is the method of observation, interview, and study of documentation method. Based on the research that has been done, then the result of this study is the existence of BUMDes is able to provide benefits to the people of the village in Ponggok. It is in terms of increasing the welfare of education, health, and income. This can be proven based on programs and performance BUMDes that help improve the village Ponggok development for the better society conditions.
