Dental and oral health means being free of chronic pain in the oral cavity, face, congenital abnormalities, periodontal disease, tooth decay or loss, and other diseases affecting the oral cavity. Dental and oral health in the elderly can give effects which influence their daily life. One of the factors affecting the dental and oral health is smoking habits. This study aimed to find out a description of the dental and oral health of elderly smokers in Piji Village, Dawe sub-district, Kudus regency. The present research described a non-experimental quantitative descriptive study. A cluster random sampling was used to recruit the sample of 147 respondents. The data were collected by using the questionnaire of GOHAI (Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index). The results showed that 65.3% of elderly smokers had low dental and oral health. Furthermore, 59.2% of elderly had low physical dimension, 44.9% had medium psychosocial function dimension, and 68% had low pain/discomfort dimension.
