Abstract
The Study aims at describing lexicons of Javanese farmers in Temulus Village, MejoboDistrict, Kudus regency based on their social dan cultural context. It uses descritivequalitative research and the data are analyzed by Spreadly’s ethnographic approach.The analysis is to describe the lexicon used by the farmers, linguistic units and theirintention based on the social dan cultural contexts. The finding shows that the farminglexicons consist of words and phrases. Those lexicons are used in all steps of agriculturalactivities done by the farmers.
