Abstract

The study entitled: "EMIC-ethical approach to the ceremony Stake Indong tribe in the village Tidung Salimbatu, Middle District of Tanjung Palas, North Borneo Linguistic Anthropology study" is about EMIC-in ceremony peg Indong ethics. The purpose of this study is (1)o determine the phase of the ceremony Stake Indong Tidung tribe in the village of Salimbatu, Middle District of Tanjung Palas, North Borneo study of linguistic anthropology.(2)To determine the EMIC-ethical approach to the ceremony Stake Indong Tidung tribe in the village of Salimbatu, Middle District of Tanjung Palas, North Borneo study of linguistic anthropology. For the purposes of the research data collection, used participant observation techniques and techniques involved consider ably. First, participant observation techniques used with the aim of (1)to obtain the quantity and quality of data collected, and (2)researchers are more familiar with the activities of the communities studied. Second, consider the techniques involved researchers introduce myself first conversation that occurred familiarity researchers and informants, researchers began to enter into the realm of conversation then listen all the words spoken by the informants, so that data found more and more manageable. This study uses emic approach, ethics as a language of science that studies the culture of science that focuses on culture and cultural distinctiveness universally.The results show edthatthe ceremonyhas as take Indongprocess activity steps considered sacred, and the EMI Candethical approach they examine how language and culture wasstill considered typicale thnic culturtidung.
