VALUASI EKONOMI LINGKUNGAN KONDISI KUALITAS AIR SUNGAI GELIS TERHADAP ASPEK AIR BERSIH(Studi Kasus: Daerah Aliran Sungai Gelis,Kecamatan Jati,Kabupaten Kudus)

Abstract

ABSTRAK- Aktivitas masyarakat yang keliru dalam memanfaatkan fungsi sungai adalah seperti membuang sampah rumah tangga ke sungai serta membuang limbah yang dihasilkan dari proses produksi suatu perusahaan ke sungai. Kualitas air sungai yang menurun tentu akan menimbulkan permasalahan air bersih yang digunakan masyarakat sekitar DAS Gelis Kecamatan Jati. Padahal, menurut Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 416 tahun 1990 Tentang Syarat- syarat dan Pengawasan Kualitas Air menyebutkan bahwa, air bersih adalah air yang digunakan untuk keperluan sehari – hari yang kualitasnya memenuhi syarat kesehatan dan dapat diminum apabila telah masak. Hal ini, tentu menimbulkan kerugian terhadap masyarakat terkait dengan kebutuhan akan adanya air bersih di Kecamatan Jati, Kabupaten Kudus sebagai upaya untuk menjaga kualiatas sungai. Hasil perhitungan estimasi biaya pengganti penyediaan air bersih selama satu tahun (2016) di DAS Gelis Kecamatan Jati sebesar Rp 950.103.408,21. Besarnya biaya tersebut berdasarkan perhitungan dari 321 KK yang merupakan warga bantaran sungai Gelis di DAS Gelis Desa Jati Kulon dan Jati Wetan. Decreased river water quality will certainly cause clean water problems used by people around Gelis River Sub-District Jati. According to the Regulation of Minister of Health Regulation No. 416 of 1990 About Terms and Supervision of Water Quality mention, clean water is water used for everyday purposes which its quality meets health and drinkable requirements. Water quality, which should be Gelis River water can be utilized for the daily life of the people around the watershed, becomes unusable. This, of course result the loss to the community related to the need for clean air in Sub-District Jati, Kudus Regency. The calculation of the cost of water supply for one year (2016) in Gelis river watershed Sub-District Jati was Rp 950.103.408,21.
