Abstract

Language is dealing with safety since the use of it can affect the safety of general public. The use of language in the public areas, especially the use of instructional language, can save or even threat its readers. Actually, instructional language in the public areas was intended to save people as the target readers. However, inappropriate use of the language triggers potential danger to the life of the people as its target readers. The equivocal instructions may lead misunderstanding to its readers, in term of its informational content. The use of instructional language in the public space should be appropriately arranged in such ways.
