BENTUK DAN PEMAKAIAN SLANG PADA MEDIA SOSIAL LINE (AKUN BATAVIA UNDIP)

Research forms and usage slang on social media LINE aims to describe how the shape and meanig of slang Jakarta and alsp how the pattern of forming that shape it. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that describe with qualitative form, meaning and pattern of forming slang Jakarta. The data source in this research is direct speech and indirect speech from members of Batavia Undip community. The data obtained by the method refer to and equipped with the technique of lively cognate and also use the technique record and screenshot. The data have been obtained and then analyzed descriptively. According to the purpose, this study deals with two aspects, the first aspect is the shape and meaing of slang. The form and using of slang are clearly describe descriptively. Slang shape is divided into basic and derived forms. Then the second aspect is the slang forming pattern which is also described descriptively and clacification table. Slang forming pattern consist of pattern of formation based on phonological structure change, slang forming pattern based on abreviation process, slang forming pattern based on the formation of new word and slang forming pattern based on word punch.
