Abstract

Kata kunci: Kompos, Pupuk Kotoran Kambing, Sampah Organik ABSTRACT Diponegoro University is one of the universities in Indonesia that can manage waste independently by establishing an integrated waste treatment facility. The amount of organic waste produced is about 5.06 m3/ day and dominated by leaves litter. One effective method to avoid potential problems caused by the pile of organic waste is by the composting process. The aim of this study are to analyze the effect and to find the optimum ratio of goat manure added in the composting process. Composting was an aerobic process with composting time of just 28 days. Goat manure fertilizer can increase the availability of nutrients for plants and improve soil fertility. Determination of compost material composition by varying goat manure (Leaf litter: Goat manure) with control (1:0); K1 (4:1); K2 (7:3) and K3 (3:2). The results of this study showed that the most optimal compost was K3 variation (3:2) with results of C-Organic 26.53%; N-Total 2.4%; C / N ratio 11.06%; P-Total 0.45%, K-Total 0.74%; GI 147% and Coliforms 210 MPN / gr. Keywords : Compost, Goat Manure Fertilizer, Organic Waste
