Abstract
The use of woman as a commercial object or advertisements through written expression by the drivers at the bumper stickers on the backs of dump trucks is rapidly adopted. It is said that the more peculiar of the written expression, the higher prestige earned by the truck drivers. This research aims to analysis the bumper stickers on the backs of dump trucks that use woman as an object of its written expression by using appraisal system. The data used in this research are from blogs through online that list some bumper stickers from Jabotabek area.The methods used to analyze the data are referential method and substitusional method.The result reveals that the representation of woman as an object of written expression at the bumper stickers on the backs of dump trucks always has negative connotation, especially as an object of sexual matters by the men.
