Abstract
Hydraulic Press is one of the tools that are used in extracting the oil from grains other than by using Solvent Extraction. Mechanical pressing is a way of extracting the oil or fat, especially for materials derived from grains - grains. Need a preliminary way before the grains in the press with a hydraulic press machine, such as perajangan, manufacture flake, or cooking. After a preliminary way in the press by using a hydraulic press machine. Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) is a crop of legumes or legume Fabaceae cultivated tribal members, as well as being the second most important legume after soybean in Indonesia. Peanuts are rich in fat, high in protein, iron, vitamin E and calcium, vitamin B complex and phosphorus, vitamins A and K, lecithin, choline and calcium. The content of proteins in peanuts is much higher than meat, eggs and soya beans. Peanut oil contains 76-82% unsaturated fatty acid, comprising 40-45% 30-35% oleic acid and linoleic acid. Saturated fatty acids mostly composed of palmitic acid, myristic acid levels while about 5%.
