Abstract
Water is a natural resource that meets the source of human life and other living things. Clean water means water that meets the requirements for both the fields of water, water sanitation and drinking water. However, from day to day the number of water pollution is increasing. Water pollution leads to reduced water quality and quantity. Water quality can be measured by the content of the parameters pH, COD, and Salinity. Pure water has a pH of 7. If the pH is below 7 means the water is acidic, while if above 7 is alkaline (bitter taste) (Kusnaedi, 2004). Clean water has a pH range of 6-9. COD analysis aims to determine the amount of oxygen required to oxidize organic substances present in water samples or the amount of oxygen required to oxidize organic substances into CO2 and H2O titration method permanganometry. Salanitas test is an analysis to determine the levels of salt dissolved in ater can use a tool handrefractometer with the principle of light refraction. The experimental results obtained, the pH content of each sample was respectively 7, 8, and 7. The COD levels at each respective sample is 8.64 mg/lt, 9.504 mg/lt and 8.64 mg/lt, as well as the salinity content in each sample, respectively 0.2 o/0, 0.1 o/0, and, 0.2 o/0. This shows the Ungaran mountain river water has been qualified water quality standards based on Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia.
