The Advisor Reny Wiyatasari, S.S M.Hum. Japanese language has certain characteristics that are used in every conversation. They are letter, vocabulary, pronunciation system, grammatical and language variants (which includes the speaker’s sex factors). This paper is intended to explore the variants of male language (danseigo). Danseigo, which is a variant of a Japanese language that tends to be used by male. Nowadays, there is an increase in the number of females who use danseigo. It can be seen from the factor of age, uchi concept, social status, and situation. This research explores the danseigo form used by woman and factors influencing the use of danseigo by woman in anime series Kaichou wa Maid Sama. The result of the analysis shows that situation is the dominant factors influencing the use of danseigo by woman. Keywords : Danseigo, gender language, language variant
