Hubungan Tingkat Spiritualitas dengan Motivasi Sembuh pada Pasien Kritis di RSUD dr. Moewardi Surakarta

Moewardi Surakarta” 72 pages +6 tables+ 2 figures + 11 attachments The critically patient is not only having physical and psychosocial problem but also in spirituality problem. Some researches show that the low of sprituality on critically patient cause lack of hope, strength and motivation to face the critical conditions being encountered. The purpose of this study to determine the correlation between level of spirituality and motivation of healing at critically ill patients in Moewardi hospital. This research was quantitative descriptive with cross sectional approach and correlational design was applied. The population were 87 critically patients in Moewardi hospital. A total of 71 samples were participated in this research by a purposive sampling technique. The results showed the level of spirituality of critically ill patients in the high category are 60 people (84.51%). While the motivation to healing critically ill patients in the high category, are 69 people (97.18%).Statistical analysis used Spearman Rho and the result were correlation value = 0,338 and significant value p=0,004 (p<0,05). These results suggest that there is a relationship between the level of spirituality with the motivation of healing in critically patients in Moewardi hospital with a positive correlation value. Sugestions to the critically patients that they should increase in spiritual activity to be closer to God and have the motivation to recover from the illness. As nurse should consider that spirituality as a part of basic human needs. Keyword : Critically patient, level of spirituality, motivation of healing.
