ANALISIS DETERMINAN PENDAPATAN NELAYAN (Kasus Desa Bedono, Kecamatan Sayung, Kabupaten Demak)

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country with various natural resources that caused a lot of its population rely their live on primary sector such as agriculture, foresty, and fisheries. Fishery is one of the sub-sector which has great potential. That happened because of the various fishery resources that Indonesia had. Even though potential, fishermen as the actors of sub-sector fisheries haven’t achieved the welfare condition yet because of the low income they get that caused by some factors, such as education level, age, working experience, family member, and fishermen organization. This research aim to understand the influence of education level, age, working experience, family member, and fishermen organization to the income of the fishermen in Desa Bedono, Kecamatan Sayung, Kabupaten Demak. This research use 74 fishermen as samples. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression trough Eviews software. Dependent variable of this research is fishermen’s income with education level, age, working experience, family member, and fishermen organization variables as independent. This research use primary data from interview that guided with detailed quest and data from books and literatures as secondary data. The result showed that independent variables working experience, family member, and fishermen organization give significant influence to fishermen income. While education level and age variables gave un-significant effect on income of Desa Bedono, Kecamatan Sayung, Kabupaten Demak fishermen.
