Abstract

Teacher Competence is a set of knowledge, skills, and behaviors that are owned, lived, and controlled by the teacher professionalism in carrying out duties. Many ways can be done to improve the competence of teachers one of them with the quality of teachers cohesiveness. Cohesiveness of qualified teachers able to improve the quality of the learning organization, so it can affect the competence of teachers. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze further the influence of the quality of teachers to the cohesiveness of the competence of teachers to the quality of the learning organization as an intervening variable. Data collection methods used in this study was a questionnaire with respondents 50 teachers SMP Negeri 2 Purwodadi, in which respondents were a total population of teachers SMPN 2 Purwodadi. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Mechanical testing of the data used is to test and test Sobel path analysis to examine the effect of mediation. These results indicate that the quality of teachers cohesiveness positive and significant impact on the quality of a learning organization. Then the cohesiveness quality of teachers and the quality of organizational learning positive and significant effect on the competence of teachers. In addition, the quality of organizational learning may mediate the relationship between the quality of teachers to the cohesiveness of teacher competence.
