Abstract

ABSTRACT Lupita, Ayunda Fitri Sekar. 2017. “ Contrastive Analysis of Indonesian Verb Naik and Japanese Verb Agaru”.Thesis, Departement of Japanese Studies Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. Advisor S.I.Trahutami, S.S.,M.Hum. The problem statemets of this research are: 1. How are structure.and meaning of Indonesian verb “ naik” ? 2. How are the structure.and meaning of Japanese verb “ agaru ” ? 3. How are the similarities and differences of Indonesian verb “Naik” and Japanese verb “Agaru” ? The purpose of this research are: 1. To describe Indonesian verb “naik”of structure and meaning. 2. To describe Japanaese verb “agaru” of structure and meaning. 3. To know how similarities and differences of Indonesian verb”naik” and Japanese verb “agaru” of structure and meaning. The data is collected from novel,magazine and article from site. The collecting data is done with the writing method. Method of data analysis used is contrastif method. Data were analyzed by using Indonesian and Japanese dictionary. The method of presenting the result of data analysis is an informal method, which is presenting the result of analysis data with words. Based on the research of concludes the similarities and differences from both verb. The similarities of verb “naik” and “agaru” are : 1. Both a verb including an intransitive verb, and can be a phrases and compound word. 2. Have 4 the same of meaning. The differences of verb “naik” and “agaru”are 1. Have 15 the differences of meaning.
