PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN VULVA HYGIENE SISWI SMA N 1 MOJOTENGAH, KABUPATEN WONOSOBO

Abstract

ABSTRACT Vulva hygiene is female behaviour to clean up and maintain their external organs. The purpose of this behaviour is to maintain the hygiene of external female organs and to prevent infection. Lack of knowledge about vulva hygiene can be a problem for them. The study aimed to identify the effect of health education to the level of knowledge about vulva hygiene in female student SMA N 1 Mojotengah, Wonosobo. This pre-experimental quantitative study used design of one group pre test post test. Actived female student at SMAN 1 Mojotengah and aged 15-18 years old were taken as respondents. Total 77 respondents were taken by proportional random sampling method. Data were taken by using a questionnaire and analyzed by using parametric tests with paired sample t test with significance level of 0.05. The conclusion of this study showed that there were influence of health education to the level of knowledge about vulva hygiene in female student SMA N 1 Mojotengah, Wonosobo Keywords: health education, level of knowledge, vulva hygiene Bibliography: 53 (1995-2014)
