HUBUNGAN POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DENGAN PERILAKU EMOTIONAL ABUSE PADA REMAJA PUTRA DI SMK NEGERI 11 SEMARANG

Abstract

Emotional abuse behavior is a form of non-physical violence or attitudes that can cause emotional trauma. Results of preliminary studies in 10 students, 6 of them said that often do emotional abuse behavior like threats and using harsh word. The four of them claimed that they have parenting parents who tent to suspect and organize social environment of respondents. The purpose of this research is to know relationship between parenting parents with emotional abuse behavior of adolescent. This research used correlative-descriptive design with cross sectional method and the sample was 107 students. The Qustionnaire are Parental Authority Questionnaire (CVI 0,005-0,1 and reliability 0,74) and Emotional Abuse Questionnaire (r 0,386-0,665 and alpha cronbach 0,896). The result of this research, showed 83 (77,6%) of respondents got authoritative parenting and 61 (57%) of respondents admitted have emotional abuse behavior. The result of chi square statistic test (alpha value = 0,005) showed p value : 0,167 which means there isno relationship between parenting parents with emotional abuse behavior. These result, are expected to be a reference for the parents that they should prudent in implementing parenting and increase a good communication to children. In addition, the school further improve relationship with parents to resolve problem related to student behavior. Keywords : Parenting Parents, Emotional Abuse, Adolescent References : 59
