The risk of falling can be assessed based on intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factors such as age, illness, psychological and treatment whereas, extrinsic factors such as tripping, slippery floor and lighting less. Falls in the elderly can lead to minor physical injuries, severe complications and even lead to death, the fear of falling back, not confident and expenses for treatment. The goal in this research is to describe the level of risk of falls in the elderly in Panti Wredha. This research is descriptive studi with survey approach. It uses total sampling technique with as many as 177 elderly respondents. Morse Fall Scale Assessment used for collecting data. The results showed 77 elderly (43.5%) have a high risk of falling, 60 elderly (33,9%) have a low risk and 40 elderly (22,6) have no fall risk. The conclusion from this research is needs for identifying the level of risk of falls in the elderly to anticipate the fall. Suggestions from this research are expected to caregivers of the elderly can pay more attention to the biological and psychological conditions of the elderly because can affect of falling.
