Fifty one nurses who working in ICU were included in the study. Data were collected using a questionnaire of Spiritual Care Competence Scale (SCCS) and Nurse Spiritual Care Therapeutics Scale (NSCTS). The results showed as much as 52.9% of respondents had high spiritual competence and 51% of respondents had been practicing spiritual care well. Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between nurse spiritual competence and spiritual care practice (p-value 0.895). During treatments in Intensive Care Unit, critical patients are highly dependent on nurses to meet their spiritual needs.
